
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) are also known as nurse aides or unlicensed assistant personnel and work under the supervision of a registered nurse in providing assistance to patients with daily living activities.
The best RN's started as CNA’s or HHA's. Being a CNA serves as a stepping stone before becoming a registered nurse.
Training
High School diploma or GED is required to enter the CNA training for 6 weeks. To include HHA(Home Health Aide) training allow 8 weeks to complete for the 120-hour program. The 40-hour training program is intended for those who already have CNA certificates for only 2 weeks training for Home Health Aide.
